She required a kiss from her grandkids whether they were coming or going, gently reminding them with a “Are you forgetting something?” Both June and her famous and impossible to replicated spaghetti sauce will be greatly missed. June loved her family and loved being the matriarch. June and Bill enjoyed traveling with her brother Lloyd and Jo to many exciting places. She enjoyed playing BINGO and her two favorite card games were “Hand and Foot” and “Bitch”. June was a Pack Leader for her sons’ Cub Scouts. June married William DiLaura on Novemand together they raised their three children in Detroit. She was born on Januin Escanaba, Michigan to the late Lester and Cecelia (Bellefeuille) Thompson. June DiLaura, age 92, of Trenary and formerly of Clinton Township, died Saturday, Januat her home under the loving care of her family and North Woods Home Hospice.
